This is a citation of an exemplary honour that Ram cherishes. In 1972, Ram was selected by Rotary District-320 comprising Tamilnad and Kerala, as a Group Study Exchange Scholar to visit USA. He was hosted by Rotarians in the Rotary District-569 comprising Kansas and Okhlahoma states. When he was in Dodge city, Kansas, to his surprise, he was honored by the Mayor and the Marshall of the city, by conferring the Honorary Dy. Marshall of Dodge City on him.
